Sauble Beach is home to the second-longest freshwater beach in the world. Canada’s first-ever zip coaster is also located here at Ascent Aerial Park.
The zip coaster isn’t just Canada’s first zip coaster; it was also the only zipline coaster in Canada until a new facility opened in Quebec.
It is the only zip coaster in Ontario.
The zip coaster will make you feel a sense of freedom as you’re suspended in the air, soaring above the beach. You will be attached to a trolley that zips around a fixed track. Tickets for this exhilarating experience cost $25 and include two rides around the track.
In addition to the zip coaster, Ascent Aerial Park features a rope course and other thrilling activities.
Their rope course was designed to be both exciting and challenging. It has 30 different obstacles. These obstacles are designed for all levels of rope-climbing skill, from beginner to advanced. The course reaches a height of 40 feet with 3 levels. The lowest level is designed for kids and beginners, and the higher levels are for more advanced climbers. The course is open to all ages above 6 and costs $43.
The JUMP experience involves jumping from a 40-foot tower. This experience costs $20.
Ascent Aerial Park
The climbing wall has 3 routes and is designed for everyone, no matter your skill level. There is a challenging advanced route for advanced climbers. Once you reach the top of the wall, you can enjoy wonderful views of the beach. Tickets cost $20, and all the climbing equipment will be provided to you.
They also have other base camp attractions, including Sand Seekers, a laser maze and the Soda Factory. In Sand Seekers, kids can find gems and fossils in the sand.
The vault is guarded by a laser maze you must cross before reaching it. They have 2 modes: a spy mode and a beam breaker mode. In spy mode, you have to avoid the laser beams as you make your way to the vault. The breaker mode is a timed mode where you have to break as many beams as possible. At the Soda factory, you can make your own soda. They also serve fresh lemonade there.
You can purchase a day pass or a season pass. A day pass gives you unlimited access to the aerial attractions and costs $59. A season pass costs $179 and includes free shoe rentals and 10% off aerial attractions for your friends.
