2023 Taste of Manila: Canada’s Largest Filipino Street Festival Is On at Toronto’s Bathhurst & Wilson This Weekend

If you’re looking for something fun to do in Toronto this August weekend, you’ll want to think about checking out the Taste of Manila festival.

Taste of Manila is one of the largest street festivals in the county. As per the organizers, it’s also the most highly attended Filipino festival outside of the Philippines.

This year’s festival is going to be a grand 10th-year celebration

 

There are lots of things you’ll want to make sure you check out while you’re here. The festival will include lots of different vendors selling a variety of products.

Stars like Julie Anne San Jose, and Rayver Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Dennis Trillo, Andrea Torres will be at the festival.

Of course, one of the most important attractions at the Taste of Manila festival is the food. As soon as you enter the festival, you’ll be greeted by the smells of some truly delicious eats. Check out all the amazing food that the vendors like Barrio Fiesta. Nayon 37, Mang RC Taho, Lemon Heaven, Tropang Ilonggo, Jackie’s Creative Cakes & Sweets, Islas’ Filipino BBQ and others have to offer, and do your best to save room so you can try a little of everything!

Taste of Manila takes place on August 19th and 20th. The hours of the free admission are Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The festival will take over the 2-km stretch of Bathurst St from Wilson Ave and Bathurst St. to York Downs Dr and Bathurst St.

If you are heading to the festival, remember that Bathurst Street, from Wilson Avenue to Laurelcrest Avenue, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday. So plan your trip accordingly.
