A Vancouver restaurant overlooking Queen Elizabeth Park has been named Canada’s best fine-dining restaurant in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards.

Seasons in the Park takes first place, followed by two Niagara Falls establishments, Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant and AG Inspired Cuisine.
The annual ranking recognizes restaurants that have earned consistently strong reviews and ratings from travellers, with dining experiences ranging from waterfront restaurants to steakhouses and intimate neighbourhood establishments.
Vancouver Restaurant Takes First Place
Seasons in the Park ranks first in Canada, with Tripadvisor highlighting its panoramic views of Vancouver’s skyline and surrounding mountains.
The restaurant focuses on Canadian cuisine, seasonal ingredients and local flavours. Tripadvisor also recognizes its attentive service and suitability for celebrations and group dining.
Ontario takes the next two positions.
Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant in Niagara Falls ranks second, combining views of the waterfalls with Italian cuisine. Fresh pasta, veal dishes, tiramisu and its wine selection are among the features highlighted by Tripadvisor.
AG Inspired Cuisine, also in Niagara Falls, places third. The restaurant focuses on regionally sourced ingredients and a seasonally changing menu, complemented by wines from Niagara-area wineries.
Black+Blue Vancouver ranks fourth, followed by Morton’s Grille in Niagara Falls at fifth.

Of the 17 restaurants recognized, British Columbia and Ontario account for 13 entries.
British Columbia leads with seven restaurants, including four in Vancouver. Ontario follows with six, including five in the Niagara region.
Alberta, Saskatchewan and Quebec each have one restaurant on the list.
The rankings also include several different dining styles. Vancouver’s Marilena Cafe & Raw Bar is recognized for seafood and its Japanese raw bar, while Pluvio Restaurant in Ucluelet highlights ingredients and flavours from Vancouver Island.
In Ottawa, 1 Elgin ranks tenth, with Tripadvisor noting its riverside setting and seasonal Canadian cuisine.
Regina’s Memories Dining & Bar also makes the list at number 14, recognized for its steakhouse menu, desserts and whisky selection.

How Tripadvisor Selects Its Best Restaurants
The Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards are based on reviews and opinions submitted by Tripadvisor users over a 12-month period.
The distinction is awarded to fewer than 1% of the platform’s eight million listings.
The fine-dining awards are separate from Tripadvisor’s casual dining, date night, hidden gems and other restaurant rankings.
