Things to Do This February in Hamilton

Hamilton’s celebration of winter to family day festivities and various foodie events will heat the cold days of  February.

1. Hamilton’s famous winter festival Winterfest takes place from January 31 to February 16, 2026. More than 60 events across the city, from concerts, crafts, drag, dancing, theatre, fashion, art installations, and more across the city.
2. Get ready to fall down the rabbit hole in this fun and magical musical adventure! Alice in Wonderland JR. is a 60-minute stage adaptation of the classic Disney movie and Lewis Carroll’s great stories, made just for young performers. January 30 to February 1, 2026
3. The Drowsy Chaperone is a masterful meta-musical that lovingly pokes fun at the golden age of musical theatre. This Canadian musical was the winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another. The Drowsy Chaperone plays from February 20 to 22 & 27 to 28, 2026 at Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre.
4. Hear The Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra’s winter concert featuring music by Verdi, Prokofiev, Leonard Bernstein, and French composer Cécile Chaminade’s Flute Concertino featuring soloist Niamh Mercer! February 7, 2026, at L.R. Wilson Hall.
