Three Days Grace and Volbeat will co-headline a Canadian tour this summer, beginning June 7 in Vancouver and concluding on June 22 in Ottawa.
The tour, produced by Live Nation Canada, will include ten stops across the country. Wage War will serve as the opening act throughout the tour.
The announcement follows the return of Adam Gontier as the lead vocalist of Three Days Grace. The band released “Mayday,” their first single with Gontier back in the lineup, which held the top spot on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart for six weeks. Gontier described the reunion as seamless, while co-lead singer Matt Walst highlighted the creative energy in making their new record.
Volbeat has also revealed plans for their upcoming ninth album, God Of Angels Trust, set for release later this year. Their latest single, “By a Monster’s Hand,” will be part of the new album. The band recently resumed live performances after a 16-month hiatus, supporting Iron Maiden in Brazil last December.
Three Days Grace holds the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs Chart, with a career spanning multiple platinum-certified albums. Volbeat, known for their fusion of rock and metal, has performed alongside major acts such as Metallica and Slipknot and received Grammy nominations.
