Tim Hortons is teaming up again with Ryan Reynolds, this time swapping breakfast for something sweeter.

After the earlier launch of Ryan’s Scrambled Eggs breakfast box, the new collaboration introduces Ryan’s Signature Donut. It is built around a fresh recipe described as soft and airy, then finished with a buttery glaze and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Reynolds, leaning into his usual humour, said most of his early ideas involved salmon, which did not make the cut. The team eventually landed on what is now a maple butter-glazed donut. He said he is excited for Canadians to try it, and joked that salmon could still make a comeback if this one succeeds.
Tim Hortons is also rolling out a teaser and an upcoming TV ad that imagines Reynolds decades into the future, still being credited for the donut.
Hope Bagozzi, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the goal was to create something new rather than rework an existing item. That meant developing not just the donut itself, but also a new glaze and maple-based icing for the collaboration.
Alongside the product launch, the company is tying in a charitable effort. Tim Hortons is releasing a limited-edition line of T-shirts featuring artwork created by children connected to SickKids Foundation and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
There are four designs in total. One will be available at participating restaurants across Canada, while all four can be purchased online. Proceeds from the sales will go toward supporting programs that help young people across the country.
