Scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, the FIFA Fan Festival will be a free event offering live broadcasts of tournament matches on large screens. Fans can expect more than just football, with local food vendors, cultural performances, and interactive installations all part of the experience.

Fort York brings historic weight to the festival. Built in 1793 and designated a National Historic Site in 1923, it holds the country’s largest collection of original War of 1812 buildings. It spans 43 acres and annually draws thousands of visitors interested in its military past and public programs.

Just steps away, The Bentway, located beneath the Gardiner Expressway, has evolved into a key cultural space in the city. Operated by the Bentway Conservancy, this creative hub is known for installations, performances, and public art that reimagine how urban space is used. The site will play a central role in festival programming.

Admission will be free, and organizers promise a range of programming and surprises, positioning Toronto as a key hub of fan activity during the World Cup.

Further details will be announced in the lead-up to the event.

Toronto is set to host six FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at the BMO Field, beginning with the opening Group Stage game on June 12, 2026—Canada’s first-ever men’s World Cup match on home soil. The city will also host games on June 17, 20, 23, and 26, and a Round of 32 match on July 2.
