Toronto’s National Park will be an easy visit starting June 17th as the Parkbus is bringing back the free shuttle to Rouge National Urban Park.
The free bus from downtown Toronto is courtesy of a partnership between Parks Canada, Mountain Equipment Company and TD Bank.
The shuttle service on school buses will start from downtown Toronto and will take you to Zoo Rd Day Use Area is located near Toronto Zoo. So you can also visit the Zoo if you like.
The service will run on select Saturdays starting June 17th.
Once at the Park, you can join Parks Canada Guided Walk or explore the area on your own.
Though the TD Rouge Express Shuttle is free, you need to book online, paying a $15 refundable deposit fee.
You can also take Parkbus to Algonquin Park, Crawford Lake & Rattlesnake Point Conservation Areas and Tobermory (Bruce Peninsula National Park), among other famous scenic locations near Toronto.

- Pick Up #1: 9:00 a.m. from 34 Asquith Ave (Yonge / Bloor area), Arrival by ~10:00 a.m.
- Pick Up #2: 12:00 pm @ 34 Asquith Ave (Yonge / Bloor area), Arrival by ~1:00 p.m.
- Leave Rouge/Zoo @ 4:00 p.m., Arrival @ 34 Asquith Ave : ~3:30 p.m.
