Toronto Caribbean Carnival is one of the most attended multicultural celebrations in the GTA.

The month-long celebrations culminate in a grand parade on August 2 along Lakeshore Blvd W in downtown Toronto.
If you cannot wait that long or want to enjoy a smaller-scale event, head to Scarborough this Saturday!
The future faces of the 58-year-old celebration will parade down McLevin Avenue and Neilson Road in colourful Caribbean costumes.
The street parade, comprising approximately 2,000 junior masqueraders in colourful costumes, will include young producers, performers, and presenters of various ages, from toddlers to teens.
This year’s Junior Carnival King and Queen will lead the parade; they were chosen from an annual contest held at Scarborough Town Centre on June 14, which allows young participants to showcase the Caribbean’s vibrant culture and rich heritage.
You can follow the parade to Neilson Park and enjoy a junior Calypso showcase, children’s amusement activities, music, a marketplace with food vendors, arts & craft vendors and more.
This family parade and festival are free to attend.

What: March along Neilson Road in support of the future of the carnival and with its junior masqueraders!

Malvern Community Centre & Neilson Park, 1555 Neilson Rd, Scarborough
Parade Route: Starting at Malvern Community Centre, west of McLevin Ave. & north on Neilson Rd. and ends at Neilson Park.
TTC Route Changes: Effective July 19, 2025 – 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM
- 132 Milner – 132 Milner buses will divert eastbound only from Sewells Road, south on McLevin Avenue, north on Morningside Avenue and west on Sewells Road, to the regular route. Stops not served: Hupfield Trail.
- 133 Neilson – 133 Neilson buses will divert both ways on Tapscott Road and Finch Avenue West. Stops not served: Neilson Road between Tapscott Road and Finch Avenue West.
- 39A to Neilson – 39A Finch East buses will divert eastbound only from Finch Avenue West, south on Baldoon Road, west on Crow Trail and north on Tapscott Road, to the regular route. Stops not served: Finch Avenue West between Baldoon Road and Neilson Road, Neilson Road, and Crow Trail between Baldoon Road and Neilson Road.
Road Closure: McLevin Avenue, between Sewells Road and Neilson Road, and Neilson Road, from McLevin Avenue to Finch Avenue East, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Junior Carnival Parade.
