Most supermarkets have installed plexiglass barriers and have limited the number of customers inside the store at any time.
Now, T&T Supermarket is going to provide a non-invasive temperature check service starting Monday, Apr 20 for its store customers.
On its Facebook page, T&T said, “As we all know fever is the most common symptom for COVID-19, in order to protect our customers and staffs, we will be providing temperature check service starting on the coming Monday (Apr 20). Please stay home if you have a fever🏠.
Thank you for your understanding.”
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat or shortness of breath. But, many people who have contracted COVID-19 remain asymptotic. According to Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, 25 percent of people with COVID-19 do not have any symptoms, but can still transmit illness to others. This discovery led to the decision of CDC recommending cloth masks, and Canada issuing the same guidance a few days later.
