Winter Wonder Forest: Enchanting 7 Acre Holiday Light Festival Returns to Edmonton Area For 2021 Winter Season

Enter the enchanting world of magic and wonder at the Winter Wonder Forest as the Holiday light festival returns for the 2021-2022 season.

The Winter Wonder Forest is a fun, outdoor fundraiser and this is the second year for the True Start Foundation. This foundation helps and supports families and since Christmas is all about giving and sharing, you can play your part by helping these families.

 

This year, the event will be moving from Edmonton’s River Valley to Longriders RV Park in Gibbons and will be a walk-thru experience.

The beautiful landscape of this park will be transformed into 7 acres of the stunning winter forest. The forest will have wonderful winter decorations and will be illuminated by many pretty light displays. You can walk through the park and admire all the holiday decorations and so much more. Each visitor will have two hours to explore the forest, as well as participate in many different winter activities.

Hop onboard the Holiday Express, covered with lights and Christmas decor, for a 15-minute ride around this amazing forest. Tickets cost $5 per person.

They have unique activities, such as horse-drawn sleigh rides of the countryside. This is a 15-minute ride and tickets cost $5 per person. You will love their massive snow maze, where you and your group will have a lot of fun finding a way out. There are many cool photo op displays where you can capture memories.

There are fun activities for kids too, including meeting Santa Claus at his workshop. Kids can even meet Mrs. Claus every Saturday and Sunday. Santa will only be at the Forest till December 24th before he sets out to deliver presents.

Your kid’s favourite TV characters will be in the Winter Wonder Forest. They can meet their favorite Frozen characters and Disney Princesses, including Else, Anna, Kristoff, Belle, Cinderella and many others.

What: It is 52 days of magic and enchantment this holiday season! True Start Foundation will be transforming 7 gorgeous green acres into an enchanting and magical illuminated forest. Families will be able to explore the enchanting outdoor only experience on foot this year, in two-hour time slots, and participate in a variety of activities that will be available.

When: November 19th to January 9th, 2022.

How Much: General tickets (18 to 64 yrs) cost $ 23.50 and tickets for seniors (65+) and kids (below 17) cost $17.50. Family discounts are available for $77.90, this includes 2 general tickets and 2 youth or senior tickets. Tickets will be more expensive on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and on New Year’s Day.
