Zellers is expanding its footprint across Canada, announcing the establishment of its pop-up shops in every remaining Hudson’s Bay store in the country, just in time for the festive season.

With this development, Zellers’ presence will include 24 existing store-in-stores, an imminent opening at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton on September 27, and 22 pop-ups that were unveiled earlier this year. This brings the total to 78 Hudson’s Bay outlets in Canada providing customers the unique Zellers experience.
The size of these pop-up stores will differ based on the location, spanning between 1,000 to 2,800 sq. ft. However, the Queen Street location in Toronto is an exception. The embedded Zellers stores in Hudson’s Bay are considerably larger, measuring between 8,000 and 10,000 sq. ft.
Sophia Hwang-Judiesch, Hudson’s Bay’s President, expressed her enthusiasm about Canadians’ warm reception of Zellers. She highlighted that these pop-ups are central to their growth plans. “They enable us to test waters in new markets and refine our offerings before committing to more extensive store formats,” she said. “It’s our customers who will guide our growth directions.”
All the announced Zellers pop-ups are set to be operational in Hudson’s Bay by September 22.
