The last couple of months have been busy in Vancouver when it comes to restaurant openings. On top of those, the city also welcomes new cafes, pubs, and desert spots.

As spring fills the air, so will the smells and aromas from the city’s newest restaurants which cover a huge variety of cuisine. This spring, enjoy the tastes of new noodle bowls, sushi rolls, craft cocktails, vegetarian food, fine Italian and French dining, or classic Italian desert like gelato!
These new Vancouver restaurants are located all around the city, too, from metros areas, to surrounding areas like Richmond, and areas more inland.
Pho & Roll by Wooden Fish
Pho & Roll have been open in Vancouver for a little over a week and are still celebrating their grand opening! Stop by the large, airy, and spacious dining room to taste and try an array of Vietnamese dishes and flavours. These flavours are served through steaming bowls of pho, appetizers, and through the fresh rolls.

Marugame Udon
Vancouver is the first-ever Canadian location for Japan’s popular Marugame Udon noodle kitchen! They opened a little over a month ago with a tempting menu of handmade noodles and bowls, savoury sauces and toppings, and famous tempura snacks. One big draw to their dishes is the ability to customize the udon noodle bowl exactly to your liking.

Ramen One
This new ramen concept restaurant opened in Vancouver in late March and is certainly one of the newest restaurants you can try in the city this spring. Ramen One provides a DIY ramen experience with options for different main dishes to pair with sides, drinks, and desserts. Many of these items are available a la carte, too. They also provide an affordable way to try something new and tasty in Vancouver this spring!

Osteria Elio Volpe
The term osteria, in Italian, refers to casual wine bars with simple food menus, or no food menus. Lucky for those in Vancouver, the new Osteria Elio Volpe do offer a deliciously simple food menu to pair with their drinks and wines. And it is a large food menu at that! The Italian dishes and menu will rotate to enable to use of the freshest seasonal ingredients.

Tutto Belle Gelato
The new Tutto Belle Gelato shop in Vancouver opened right on time for the warmer weather. Welcome spring and later, summer, with a stop by the new shop and take your pick between a dozen different gelato flavours. They offer the gelato in simple yet unique flavours and serve it up in their own waffle cones.

Petrichor Social
Fine French dining and cuisine are available in Vancouver with a new concept and goal: to bring social experiences into the dining experience. The restaurant is set up for connection and socialization, while the menu provides shareable plates and appetizers for the groups. Also on the menu is a gourmet selection of main entrees, their special soft serve ice cream for dessert.

Don’t Argue Slice Shop
Don’t Argue opened this past March inside of Little Italy’s Café Soccavo, although many Vancouver locals may already recognize the pizzeria’s name. Don’t Argue was originally open in Vancouver from 2014-2019 and has made an exciting return to the city’s restaurant scene. They’ve brought back old favourites and created some new pizza topping combos for the grand re-opening.

Maxim’s Bakery
This local Vancouver bakery now has many locations across the lower mainland. Maxim’s Bakery opened their newest location last February in Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre. The Hong-Kong style bakery offers a fresh assortment of pastries and cakes, among sweet drink items, too.

Sunny Side Up
Sunny Side Up is a new all-day breakfast and lunch location, open each day until 3pm. They offer a variety of specials, too, to help diners save on an afternoon out with great food. Sunny Side Up provides simple, savoury, sweet, and decadent breakfast options, and an unbeatable $7.77 breakfast special. For lunch, try burgers, handhelds, or pasta.

The Hestia Veggie Restaurant
The Hestia Veggie Restaurant, as you may have guessed, is an all-vegetarian eatery. On top of that, Hestia offers a vegetarian menu filled with Vietnamese cuisine and inspirations. They are located in a busy downtown Vancouver location and offer a place to escape the crowds for a snack, something sweet, or a full meal.
