The 2025 edition of the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto will return for its 37th year from July 18–20, bringing nine races and multiple fan engagement opportunities to Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto.

The temporary 2.874-kilometre (1.786-mile), 11-turn street circuit will once again serve as the central venue near the Lake Ontario shoreline.
The weekend’s headline event is Round 13 of 17 in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Famous racers include Canadian Devlin DeFrancesco and former Toronto winners Scott Dixon, Will Power, Josef Newgarden, Christian Lundgaard (2023), and Colton Herta (2024). Also competing is 2025 Indianapolis 500 champion and three-time series titleholder Alex Palou.
Fans will also have access to several other racing categories. These competitions are scheduled:
- NTT INDYCAR SERIES
- USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire – Featuring Canadian driver Mac Clark. The 2025 champion receives a $546,500 scholarship toward advancement to INDY NXT in 2026.
- USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire – Includes Canadian Anthony Martella. The series offers a $405,040 scholarship for progression to USF Pro 2000 in 2026.
- Emzone Radical Cup Canada Presented by Michelin – A single-make series for Radical SR3 1340 sportscars.
- Miata Canada Cup – Part of the CASC-OR Road Racing Series, featuring MCC1 spec cars and MCCU non-spec entries.
The Honda Indy Toronto offers much more than just racing. Festivalgoers can expect a sensory overload with the sights, sounds, aromas, and flavours that fill the Exhibition Place grounds.
The numerous food and beverage vendors stationed across the area provide a wide variety of culinary delights.
Fans will also have access to an array of off-track features at Exhibition Place. Festival-goers can explore premium food and drink offerings in the Truck Stop section or head to the Ontario Honda Dealers Pit Stop area inside the Enercare Centre to beat the heat. Merchandise stands to buy souvenirs to commemorate the trip, interactive displays, and beer gardens fill Thunder Alley.
Friday, July 18, marks the 14th installment of “Free Fan Friday,” offering complimentary entry with voluntary donations directed to Make-A-Wish® Canada.
Single-day general admission tickets are priced at $50 for Saturday and $70 for Sunday. Grandstand seats start at $75 and $100 for the respective days. Two-day general admission is available for $85, while two-day grandstand access begins at $110. Children aged 12 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a paying adult.
For closer access to teams and drivers, Paddock Passes and Pit Passes are available. Pit Passes include Paddock access and allow entry to the pit lane during all on-track sessions, including IndyCar practice and qualifying. The paddock area, situated in the Enercare Centre, gives fans a behind-the-scenes view of car preparation and team operations.
Returning this year is the ROOKIE RACERS program, providing young fans with direct engagement, including high-fives with drivers during Sunday’s pre-race grid walk and hands-on experiences on Saturday with support series teams.
Launched in 1986, the Toronto race weekend continues to be a major fixture on the Canadian motorsports calendar, featuring attractions like Thunder Alley, food trucks, interactive exhibits, and beer gardens.

The racetrack
Running through the Exhibition Place grounds and extending onto Lake Shore Boulevard West between Ontario Drive and Strachan Avenue.
The temporary road closures required for the event take place on Lake Shore Boulevard West between Ontario Drive and Strachan Avenue and southbound on Strachan Avenue between Fleet Street/Manitoba Drive and Lake Shore Boulevard West.
The temporary road closures occur for five days beginning on the Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 9:00 p.m. to Monday, July 21, 2025 when the roads reopen at 1:00 a.m. In the event of a delay or cancellation of the race on Sunday, July 20, 2025, the final race will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025.
