There’s something for everyone at Toronto International Busker Fest, taking place this Labour Day long weekend.

BuskerFest Toronto
Celebrating its reputation as Ontario’s grandest convergence of global buskers, this four-day extravaganza teems with non-stop entertainment for everyone, from adrenaline junkies to comedy connoisseurs, acrobatic aficionados to music mavens.
The atmosphere is a celebration of both skill and spontaneity, all in support of Epilepsy Toronto.
What to Expect This Weekend
-
Mainstage Performers: The lineup features international stars such as FireGuy, a Guinness World Record holder for fire stunts; Japan’s HeroMacro, blending acrobatics with playful humor; and the Jambo Brothers from Nairobi, whose acrobatics and fire stunts earned them acclaim on Canada’s Got Talent. Other acts include Plaf! with her German wheel, the comedic juggling of Sam Malcolm, and Pyromancer’s hypnotic fire artistry.
- Street Surprises: Beyond the main stage, roaming performers keep the park buzzing. Visitors might stumble across ET the Mime, towering stilt-walkers from INCIRQUE, or even Silver Elvis—a robotic statue that comes to life in dazzling metallic homage to rock’s most famous icon.
- Family Fun Zone: Each day at noon, foam dance parties hosted by DJ FLOZ set the tone for kid-friendly fun. The area also includes mini acrobatics, shadow puppet shows, busker bricks for building, and circus-inspired games that keep younger visitors engaged.
- Evening Entertainment: Sunday night’s Night Shift offers fire performances, live bands, and a beer garden for adults. The Comedy Tent showcases multicultural stand-up from comics hailing from Venezuela, Guyana, and Italy, while WHAT THE BUSK! delivers a late-night cabaret of clowning, puppetry, drag, and burlesque—an eccentric variety show unlike any other.
- Bark in the Park TO: From agility courses and vendors to photo opportunities, the highlight is the Ultimutts, a troupe of performing cats and dogs whose stunts, tightrope walking, skateboarding, and more, have won international attention.
- Live Music: Acts range from the soulful voice of Jessica Lockwood and folk fusion by Kyler Mackenzie to New Orleans-style jazz, pop-rock group Girl Pow-R, and the electric violin of Dr. Draw.
- Beyond the Stage: Visitors can wander an Artisan Market showcasing local craftwork or indulge in global flavors from the lineup of food trucks and vendors.
