Starting September 25, 2023, WestJet passengers can access these new destinations, complementing the existing 22 cities already part of the codeshare.
Per the news release, this development results from a decade-long partnership between the two airlines, facilitating travel between Canada and Europe with one-ticket convenience and the opportunity to earn WestJet Dollars. WestJet will now offer a total of 53 European destinations through this agreement.

WestJet will also operate year-round service between Calgary and Paris due to high demand. This route will use WestJet’s 787 Dreamliner and serve as a convenient connection hub for travellers heading to Air France’s additional European destinations.
The expansion includes access to sought-after European cities like Nice in France, Helsinki in Finland, and Valencia in Spain, offering Canadian travellers more options for their European getaways.
