With an Environmental Education Center to provide information on trails, walks, parks, recreation and environmental displays, it is a perfect first stop to get to know the area. Check out the self-guided Compost Education Gardens and the Food Forest next to the Center. A fantastic little park with activity zones for both younger and older children. This animal rescue facility is Kelowna’s only petting zoo. There are an incredible number of animals living here, more than 70 at last count. Don’t let the name fool you, this farm is open to everyone, and gives kids an opportunity to be with animals and away from electronics.
