Summer Events at Royal Botanical Gardens

Royal Botanical Gardens has unveiled a massive lineup of special summer events, including evening parties, music in the garden and more!

  • RBG is participating in the Canada Strong Pass, which grants free admission to visitors up to 17  years old, and half-price admission to visitors who are 18 to 24 years old from June 19, 2026 – September 7, 2026.
  • ANCHORBALL: A Curious Art Journey: Starting June 20, 2026, the gardens will host ANCHORBALL: A Curious Art Journey, the first Canadian exhibition by artist Ken Kelleher. Running until September 20, the show coincides with RBG’s 85th anniversary and is being described as its largest exhibition to date. Spread across the landscape are 18 large-scale sculptures, some reaching up to 12 feet tall alongside an integrated augmented reality experience embedded throughout the garden, bringing together physical and digital elements within a beautiful natural setting.
  • Outdoor Summer Concerts: Bring a lawn chair or pack a blanket, grab a cold drink and enjoy performances featuring award-winning musicians in the lovely garden setting.
  • RBG After Dark turns the gardens into a 19+ evening escape, blending nature with nightlife. Each month brings a new theme, live entertainment, food, drinks and special experiences. You can wander illuminated paths, spend time with friends and enjoy a relaxed social night in a garden setting.
  • The Enchanted Garden: A secret Academy awaits inside the Rock Garden, inviting children aged 4 to 8 on a whimsical adventure of curiosity, creativity and discovery. Families can explore magical subjects, hidden moments and garden surprises together. Costumes are encouraged, so young elves, fairies, sprites and wizards can fully step into the enchantment.

Dominican Bachata Party

Discover how innovation has shaped the video game industry. Game Changers takes you on a fascinating journey, exploring the past and examining how the intersection of audio, storytelling, graphics, and gameplay creates the immersive environment of current video gaming systems. Details

Burlington’s Summer Music Parade

Burlington’s Summer Music Parade brings music, colour and community spirit downtown. Starting at 10 a.m. from Drury Lane and Caroline Street, the route features marching bands, floats and performers, including the Burlington Teen Tour Band, Junior Redcoats and Top Hat Marching Orchestra. Guests can also bring non-perishable food donations for the Burlington Food Bank. Details

A visit to a sunflower farm is surely a cause for a smile, photo ops, and plenty of sunshine. Walk on a path through a sea of yellow flowers and purchase a specialty product from a store on-site to commemorate your summer experience.
