3. Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village opening weekend

Ukrainian Village is a short drive from Edmonton and other central Alberta towns/cities, and they welcome you to the opening weekend of their 130th year! While the Historic Site opens on May 21st for 2022, you’ll want to visit on the 23rd when they host their Spring Celebration, featuring dance performances. 4. Banff Sunshine Village

There are many events to check out in Banff over the long weekend, many of which are close-out bashes to the previous ski season. At the Village, you can catch the Slushshine Rail Jam, a Borgeau Bonfire Bash, the Untracked Concert Series, and the Slush Cup. Accommodations can be found onsite with more options in town.
