Starting in the summer of 2025, Air Transat will introduce a direct link between Toronto and Berlin, a route catering to over 100,000 travellers who fly indirectly between the two cities annually.

From June 19 to October 24, 2025, Air Transat will operate a non-stop connection linking Toronto (YYZ) and Berlin (BER). Travellers can expect two weekly flights, scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays.
The announcement follows Air Transat’s recent introduction of a route to Valencia, Spain, and marks an increase in the airline’s non-stop transatlantic offerings to 36. Per the news release, the route also leverages a partnership with Porter Airlines, enhancing connections from cities such as Montreal, Vancouver, and Halifax to Germany’s capital.

Air Transat says the A321LR featuring fuel-efficient operations, modern inflight entertainment, and an ergonomic cabin design will serve the route.
This latest expansion, introduced by Air Transat—named the 2024 World’s Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax—brings its total number of non-stop routes between Canada and Europe or North Africa to 36.
