Alberta Closes All Dine-in Services in Bars & Restaurants Due to COVID-19

Travelling Dishes- An interactive Nigerian dining ExperienceAlberta has asked all bars and restaurants to close dine-in services to protect the health and safety of Albertans during COVID-19. Take-out, delivery and drive-through service is still permitted.

Restaurants in a food court may stay open for take-out only (no seating).

 

As part of COVID-19 measure, a Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation amendment allows licensed restaurants and bars to sell liquor as part of their take-out and delivery services.

Not-for-profit community kitchens, soup kitchens and religious kitchens are exempt at this time, but risk mitigation strategies must be followed.

Albertans are prohibited from attending bars and nightclubs, where law prohibits minors.

Alberta Government has also announced that vehicle access is prohibited to all provincial parks as part of aggressive measures to combat the rapid rate of spread of COVID-19.
