All of Canada has some kind of mandatory requirements for physical distancing, but there is only so much you can do staying at home like Bangra dancing to bagpipes concert as these Yukon neighbours did.
With streets and parking lots devoid of traffic, a group of smart Calgarians got together at an empty parking lot and had a blast with a midday dance party, all while following Alberta’s social distancing rules!
Calgary Police Service caught the midday party on camera when the HAWCS helicopter patrol came upon the group of vehicles. CPS has since shared the videoon social media thanking the parking lot dancers for doing their part in physical distancing.
CPS said, “While we recommend staying home at all times to #FlattenTheCurve, if you are going to be outside please keep your distance from others.”
