The new issues capture both the religious and festive aspects of the holidays, featuring a Nativity-themed Christmas stamp and a storybook-inspired holiday set.

The 2025 Christmas stamp presents a nostalgic interpretation of the Nativity scene, with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus illuminated beneath the star of Bethlehem as the Magi approach in the background. The artwork, created by illustrator Bex Morley and printed by Colour Innovations, uses soft tones to highlight the figures and evoke a sense of hope. The stamp is available in booklets of 12 Permanent domestic rate stamps and an Official First Day Cover, cancelled in Hope, British Columbia, symbolizing the theme of hope in the Christmas story.

The accompanying holiday stamp series tells a lighthearted tale of woodland friendship, depicting a fox, rabbit, and two squirrels preparing their forest home for the festive season. The designs were created by Kristine Do and illustrated by Alexandra Finkeldey. This issue includes a booklet of 12 Permanent domestic rate stamps, sheetlets of six U.S. and six international rate stamps, a souvenir sheet of three stamps, and a souvenir sheet Official First Day Cover. The cancel location, Fox Creek, Alberta, reflects the fox featured in the artwork.
