In honour of Asian Heritage Month, Calgarians can explore the rich traditions of India, China, and the Philippines through stunning displays, live performances, and hands-on activities at Southcentre Mall.
This year’s theme is Unity in Diversity—The Impact of Asian Communities Shaping Canadian Identity. In collaboration with GlobalFest, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating Calgary’s cultural diversity and artistic talent, get a glimpse of Calgary’s premier multicultural summer festival at Southcentre. Tickets to GlobalFest are also available for purchase at Guest Services.

On May 25th and June 1st, Centre Court will become alive as a dynamic culture hub, featuring hands-on experiences and live performances that celebrate Asian heritage through art, music, and tradition. On May 25 explore hands-on art and cultural workshops from henna to DIY dragon boats to fruit carving to turban wrapping – and so much more. Then, on June 1, experience a variety of performances, including lion dancing, Bollywood dancing and drumming, and Ati-Atihan street dancing.
