Beloved Jasper favourite Wafflato Café & Lounge is officially opening its first Calgary location this Sunday!
To celebrate, the first 50 guests through the door will receive a free signature waffle—golden, handcrafted, and topped with inventive flavours that made Wafflato famous in the mountains.
The new all-day café and lounge blends urban design with small-town warmth, serving waffles, brunch classics, savoury dinner dishes, desserts, and creative cocktails. Guests can also enjoy a curated coffee program in partnership with Fratello Coffee Roasters.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Pravila & Suhas Sawant, Wafflato has become a symbol of resilience and connection since the 2024 Jasper wildfire. Now, they’re bringing their cozy mountain charm to Calgary’s vibrant Design District—serving up good food, good energy, and Alberta pride from morning coffee to evening cocktails.
