About Calaway Park Calgary
Calaway Park Calgary is Western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park.
The park spans 160 acres (operating on 100 acres) and has a collection of over 32 rides including children’s rides, thrill rides and family rides.
The park has been in operation since 1982.

Play one of 23 arcade games.
Have fun watching the live entertainment and stage shows.

2019 Season Highlights
- Experience Bumble Blast, Calaway Park’s New Ride! This spinning coaster will have your family twisting and turning all summer long. Journey along a figure- eight track as this family fun ride spins. Bumble Blast seats passengers back-to-back in their own cars and can easily accommodate adults as well as children.
The height restriction for Bumble Blast is a minimum of 42” to ride with an adult and 48” to ride alone.
- Two Brand New Stage Shows by Calaway: Red Riding Hood’s Rock the Forest, a fun rock-music festival with fairy tale characters and Shine Like Summer, a high-energy, summer-lovin’ stage show for the whole family!
- DEEPO 3D, a nWave Pictures film, playing in Cinemagic 3D: Experience DEEPO 3D, an animated underwater adventure, in the Cinemagic 3D theatre! Sing along with friendly sharks, sea turtles and playful dolphins.

Location and Directions to Calaway Park
Calaway Park Location–The park is situated on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, only 10 km West of Calgary on the TransCanada Highway and approximately 25 km from downtown Calgary. There is no direct public transport to Calaway park. Calgary Transit will get you nearer. Take bus route #408 to Canada Olympic Park and take a taxi (10 km) from there.

Locker rental : $5
Stroller rentals for $7.00 at Hudstones Toys & Gifts located inside the entrance area of Calaway Park. Picture ID is required as a deposit.
Wheelchairs are available for rent ($5) on a first come, first serve basis in the First Aid Office to the right of the Guest Service office.

Wear comfortable shoes and if you want to go on the water rides, wear clothes that won’t take too long to dry or have a change of clothes in your car.
