Prepare to be terrified as Fort Fright returns to Fort Henry in Kingston, transforming the 18th-century garrison and National Historic Site into one of the most spine-chilling haunted houses in North America. Back after a two-year hiatus, this terrifying immersive experience through the Fort’s narrow hallways, interior ditch and tunnels offers a compelling option for those who want to venture beyond pumpkins, deep into the macabre nature of the season to find true ‘Halloween spirit.” The Fort Fright scare attraction presents a nightmarish realm of creatures and monsters through the use of more than 50 movie-style, quality animatronics, dynamic special effects, intense sound and lighting and a large number of costumed scare actors.

Get ready to confront your deepest fears as you step into a world filled with more scares and haunting scenes than ever before.

Dark Nights on Thursdays!
Embrace the darkness at Fort Fright as we turn off all the lights, leaving you to brave the unknown with just a single eerie flashlight to guide your way. Step into the shadows with Dark Nights. This chilling new offering is the ultimate thrill for October. Mark your calendar for two spine-tingling Thursdays (October 19 and 26), where Fort Fright transforms into a haunted realm like never before. Each group will be plunged into the heart of darkness, where every creak and whisper take on a sinister meaning.

Who is it for?
Fort Fright is not recommended for children. Parents should use their discretion. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are non-refundable and the last ticket is sold 1 hour before closing time.

For those who may be more sensitive to scares, purchase Scare Amulets at the ticket booth upon arrival and the Candy Corner to signal to our scare-actors to turn down the scare and keep a safe distance.

Please arrive within your allotted check-in time only. Present your ticket(s) at the check-in booth upon arrival on your phone or printed.
All ticket sales are final as such are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Plan for at least 1 hour of spine-chilling adventure at Fort Fright. This includes our Haunted House section, Interactive Zone and other thrilling experiences. Guests can stay in the interactive zone as long as they wish.
