Events Description
Celebrate Canada Day immersed in nature while taking part in fun and engaging activities. More than a dozen Provincial Parks will host Canada Day events on July 1, which means there are many opportunities for the family to have fun.
Spend the day doing crafts, playing games, and getting in the spirit of Canada Day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Each participating park will offer the following activities, though some parks may have additional offerings:

- Cake / Cupcakes 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Start the celebrations off with a sweet treat. - Come and go games, Canada Day temporary tattoos, and a Canada Day bingo game at the welcome tent 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Art Hour: Shaving Cream Fireworks Craft 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Make your own firework art using shaving cream. - Beach Relays 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Race against teams to be the first to complete the Sask Parks Obstacle Race. The fastest team to complete the course wins! - Art Hour: Beaver Keychain Craft 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Create a customized Canadian Beaver keychain. - Second Annual Canuck Quest 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
The main event of the evening! Using clues and directions, venture through the park on a quest to discover Canadian treasure.
- Cake / Cupcakes 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Wear your best Canada Day attire for a chance to win a Sask Parks prize!
Stay a Day – There’s still room! Spend a night or even a week in our provincial parks and make your experience one to remember.

This event is free with a valid park entry permit. Pre-register. Pre-registration closes 24 hours prior to the program start time.
