As you enter the Co-operators Centre on March 1, 2020, there will be a rush of excitement.
The 1,500 attendees are eagerly awaiting the start of the game. On one bench, the Montreal Canadiens Alumni team with their guest Assistant Coach, and the VIP guest section right behind them.
On the other bench the Cougar Hockey Alumni players, getting ready to take on some the the Habs greatest. The smell of the arena, the noise of the crowd – it brings back so many memories.
Finally, the moment everyone has been waiting for: the announcer introduces the referee, linesmen and the starting lineup of players to a thunderous applause. The game is on!

The score is final, the players shake hands in true sportsmanship fashion, but the experience continues. A banquet dinner is being held just down the hall at Queensbury Convention Centre with the focus still on hockey. The program includes a conversation with Steve Shutt.
Steve played 13 sessions in the NHL, 12 of which were with the Montreal Canadiens. With his linesmates Jacques Lemaire and Guy Lafleur he scored 60 goals in the 1976-77 season. He won 5 Stanley Cups and in 1993 was inducted to Hockey Hall of Fame.
Proceeds from this amazing event will go towards funding pediatric programs in Regina’s Hospitals, scholarships for U of R hockey athletes and the Pat Canadians midget hockey team.

How to get tickets?
Event tickets will be mailed to the address provided up until Tuesday, February 18th.
Tickets ordered online after February 18th may be picked up prior to the event at the Hospitals of Regina Foundations office located at 1874 Scarth Street on the second floor, unit 225, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. Or they will be available at the Cooperators Arena doors beginning at 2 pm on March 1st.
