This Fleeting Moment | Nuit Blanche Regina 2023
The 2023 Nuit Blanche Regina festival focuses on the theme of fleeting moments. NBR’s one-night-only model in its nature acts as an ephemeral experience for festival attendees, artists, and the very structures the works displayed interact with. This year’s theme considers the experiences of the festival in juxtaposition to the role of artists in the creation and dissection of memory and the capturing, celebration, or perhaps grieving of fleeting time. We invite viewers to question the value of memory and ephemerality in relation to the temporary alterations our artists make to locations of familiarity in Regina’s downtown core.
