60th Annual Labour Day Classic
It’s one of the most iconic events in Canadian Sports — and we are celebrating with fan favourites!
Fans of all ages can enjoy a fun-filled day featuring face painters, popular princesses, and superheroes roaming Riderville, along with pre-game minor football action on the field. At halftime, the Jr. Rider Cheer team will deliver an exciting performance, and after the game, fans are invited onto the field.
Be here in the Heartland of Canadian football to support your Saskatchewan Roughriders as they take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the much anticipated 60th Annual Labour Day Classic! (They do not include the 1952 game that took place in Winnipeg in their count.)
The Riders are calling it a “Diamond Legacy,” which celebrates six decades of the rivals’ annual showdown. It will also be the final game for the concert series this year.
Fun Fact: In the 59 years that this epic matchup has occurred, the Riders are up 38-21 with the longest winning streak of 11 consecutive years from 2005-1015!
This is one of 5 home games this season with family-friendly start times and the only one on a Sunday, so be sure to bring the whole fam… Gainer loves to see all the kids in the stands as much as they love to see him on the field
