The Mississauga Festival of Trees returns from December 5 to 14, 2025, transforming the historic Small Arms Inspection Building into one of the region’s most magical holiday destinations. Now in its fifth year, this beloved community festival invites visitors of all ages to experience an inspiring blend of contemporary art, seasonal markets, workshops, and festive entertainment. Presented by CreativeHub 1352, the event brings together artists, makers, families, and visitors from across Ontario to celebrate creativity and the spirit of the winter season.
At the heart of the Festival is a stunning exhibition featuring ten contemporary tree installations created by Ontario-based artists. Each unique work explores themes of nature, community, cultural connection, and imagination, offering audiences new ways to experience the symbolic and artistic meaning of the tree. The exhibition runs daily throughout the festival and provides an engaging and reflective centerpiece for visitors.
The Festival’s popular Holiday Market returns with more than 90 artisan and culinary vendors showcased across two festive weekends. Guests can browse handmade goods, fine crafts, delicious foods, and unique gifts from local creators and small businesses. Adding to the atmosphere, visitors will enjoy live music performances throughout market hours, featuring a diverse lineup of Ontario musicians.
Creative workshops led by local artists run throughout the festival, offering hands-on creative experiences for families, youth, and adults. From craft-making to seasonal art activities, these workshops provide an opportunity to learn new skills and take home a special holiday creation.
Admission to the Festival of Trees is Pay-What-You-Can, ensuring the event remains accessible to all. The venue is fully accessible, offers free parking, and is conveniently located next to the Long Branch GO Station and MiWay transit routes.
