Events Description

Canada’s 1.3 million small businesses don’t just generate economic growth, they create jobs, strengthen communities, and turn ideas into reality.

Leading up to Canada Day and beyond, Huumans is celebrating the people behind those businesses through My Canada, My Story, a national campaign dedicated to the entrepreneurs and small business owners helping build Canada\’s future.

Starting June 15 through Canada Day, My Canada. My Story. invites small business owners, entrepreneurs, and founders from across the country to submit a powerful 60-90 second video sharing their journey, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the impact they\’re making in their communities.

In a true Canadian spirit, participants will also be asked to share what Canada means to them and why they’re proud to build their lives and businesses here.

Selected stories will be featured as part of a national Canada Day campaign celebrating the people behind Canadian small businesses.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain national exposure, inspire fellow Canadians, and gather votes from Canadians for exciting prizes:

1st Place: $10,000 cash prize + national press release announcing the winning small business
2nd Place: A free trip to Banff, Alberta + 5 hours of free advisor support
3rd Place: A featured Owner Story profile on Huumans, permanently showcasing your business to Canadians forever.

Are you a Canadian entrepreneur or small business owner?
