The DuPlessis Family Christmas Display won’t disappoint; it is up and running and is definitely shining bright.
For the month of November, DuPlessis Family has been working hard to build, assemble and create a display that will surely make you smile and brighten your day.
DuPlessis Family says, ” So, this year’s Christmas display was a real rollercoaster ride, let me tell you! We fabricated extra wall strips and railing arches, but the biggest challenge was Mother Nature. Crows, raccoons, and all sorts of critters decided to have a feast on our front lawn, leaving about a third of it in tatters. Talk about a messy situation!”
“But we weren’t ones to give up easily. We dug in and placed 2 yards of sand and white tarps to create a winter wonderland backdrop for our display. And guess what? It worked out like a charm! Our characters now have a unique and stunning backdrop to stand out against.”
“We also added another 3000 pixels to the display by doubling up on the house wall and adding the fence line arches. And let’s not forget about the items that had been elevated by our cedar trees after some unfortunate tree removals. We had to make some adjustments, but we pulled it off and I think we’ve created one of our best displays yet.”
The Christmas display pixels are all set to create a 12-minute musical show. You can come and listen from the curb, or if you’d rather stay warm and cozy in your car, tune into HoHoHo Radio at 92.3 FM. Come on down and enjoy this spectacular display!
This is the DuPlessis Family’s 27th year supporting the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. They will collect donations through the on-site drop box and QR code link or through the link on our website at www.duplessischristmas.ca.
