Events Description
The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival showcases more than 140 shows from around the world, offering comedy, drama, improv, dance, musicals, and so much more. Presenting live theatre in an informal, accessible and inexpensive environment, the Fringe strives to break down traditional boundaries between audience and artist, encouraging open dialogue between theatre-goers and theatre creators.
Make sure to visit the heart of the festival in Old Market Square to enjoy free music and entertainment from noon to midnight daily. This historic cultural hub, located in the city’s Exchange District, is where locals and visitors gather to enjoy incredible music, talented street performers, tasty food options, beverage pavilions and merchant vendors.
