Come see the 9th largest land animal at its smallest and cutest!
The Plains Bison is a magnificent mammal and fitting symbol for the province of Manitoba. See the herd in action, hear how this icon of the prairie almost disappeared, and feel a connection to the herd as you see the miracle of baby bison.

- The suggested entrance to FortWhyte Alive for this program is through the Alloway Reception Centre at 1961 McCreary Rd
- This program meets inside the Alloway Reception Centre.
- The guided hike is approximately 1 hour in length
- Bring a camera and binoculars
- Be dressed to be outside
- Baby Bison Walks are dependent on the weather and trail conditions; we may have to cancel or postpone a tour in the case of inclement weather
