Events Description
Carve and paint a hunting style Black Duck.
You will work with rasps to shape a cork body and learn to use power tools (provided) to carve a basswood head/tail. The decoy will be finished with acrylic paint.
Instructors: Frank Macfarlane and Susan Cowtan
*Face mask and proof of vaccination required or this workshop.
About the instructors: Frank is an avid duck hunter and guide. Both Frank and Susan are multiple Best of Show winners and have competed at the highest levels including Canadian Nationals. Susan has also competed at the World Championships.
