Halloween Howl is back for five rounds of fangtastic family fun, its biggest run yet. Trick-or-treat your way through the galleries, dance it out with special guest DJ Mama Cutsworth, make new animal friends from Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre, and get hands-on with spook-tacular STEM activities from Let’s Talk Science from the University of Winnipeg. Add your creative touch to our collaborative glow-in-the-dark mural, strike a pose at photo spots around every corner, and get your hands deliciously slimy with a batch of homemade oobleck. Feeling brave? Dive into our sensory station if you dare… you never know what you’ll find.
Costumes are optional but will make the event so much more fun! For the safety and security of all event guests, if you or your child’s costume includes a toy weapon or a mask, we respectfully ask that you leave those items at home.
Looking for a safer alternative to trick-or-treating this year? Join us for two special daytime sessions on October 31 for the morning or afternoon —designed with our tiniest trick-or-treaters in mind. All the fun of Halloween Howl, just earlier in the day and a little more little-kid-friendly.

- All Halloween Howl ticket sales are non-refundable.
- The Children’s Museum reserves the right to restrict admitting children unaccompanied by adults as well as adults unaccompanied by children.
- Early Bird discount offer will be in effect until 11:59PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
