The technology, developed by Evolv Express, is intended to speed up entry into the venue while maintaining safety protocols.
The system employs sensor technology and artificial intelligence to detect security threats without requiring fans to remove everyday items like phones or keys. This aims to reduce wait times at entry points and ease the overall ingress process.
The updated screening procedures will also apply to events held at the ICE District Plaza and Fan Park. According to OEG Sports & Entertainment, these changes are part of a broader effort to improve crowd flow and fan safety at high-attendance events.
As part of the updated entry process, ticket scanning will now take place before security checks, marking a change from previous procedures. The venue’s existing bag policy remains in effect, though fans are advised to avoid bringing large bags. Smaller items, such as fanny packs and compact clutches, are preferred.
Per the news release, Evolv Express systems are currently in use at more than 850 venues globally, including schools, hospitals, and sports arenas.
