1. Once Upon a Season

Once Upon a Season takes families back through Alberta’s heritage, in a pioneer themed show set on a farm. An array of barnyard animals play through the seasons, although spring is missing (or perhaps winter this year!). Where is the rain? The puddles of mud? Winter becomes a bothersome playmate who just won’t go away! Details

2. The Three Musketeers

D’Artagnan longs to join the King’s Musketeers. But will his sharp sword and quick wit let him survive Paris’ treacherous labyrinth of gossip, slander, intrigue and duels? When the favour for the Queen’s handmaiden brings d’Artagnan afoul of the powerful Cardinal, the daring youth befriends three Musketeers. A fun and interactive event specifically designed to put everything families need all under one roof. 4. Calgary Unplugged – Earth Hour

The City of Calgary will be hosting Earth Hour – Calgary Unplugged for the third year. This FREE event will feature free hot chocolate, bicycle-powered music and lights, kids’ nature games and an interactive Earth Hour photo booth. Event-goers are encouraged to bring a light, drum, costume, lantern or decorate their bicycle and take part in a procession to signal the beginning of Earth Hour. Details

5. Quantum Technology Open House

Quantum physics predicts extraordinary phenomena such as entanglement, and describes how nature works at the smallest scales. Neil Sinclair will discuss how some scientists are harnessing these weird predictions to develop new technology that could impact our everyday lives.

Join Friar Tuck, the wandering minstrel and man of the cloth, as he introduces you to the Prince of Thieves, Robin Hood!
