Fall Fair 2024: Head to Winnipeg’s Red River Exhibition Park For Fireworks, Midway Rides and Entertainment This Labour Day Weekend

With autumn season right around the corner, it’s time to celebrate this beautiful season with a Fall Festival.

The Red River Exhibition Association is hosting its Fall Fair from August 30 to September 1. Immerse yourself in a blend of sights, sounds, and family fun as we celebrate the final days of summer and the arrival of autumn.

Hosted at The Loop in Red River Exhibition Park, the Fall Fair offers an exciting array of experiences for visitors of all ages. More than just a fair, it’s a lively carnival featuring thrilling midway rides, children’s entertainers, gastronomic delights, and an assortment of attractions that will make it your ultimate Labor Day destination.

 

Thrill-seekers and adventure enthusiasts are in for a treat with several adrenaline-pumping rides. These rides include 12 heart-pounding thrill rides like Wind Glider, Typhoon, Starship, 12 kiddieland Rides, and several captivating midway games. There will be Roller Bowler, Bulldozers, Water Race, and several other cool games that you will love.

There will be numerous live musical performances by talented local musicians throughout the day. Performing at the Main Stage will be SanCarlos Band, CT Taylor Band, Men In Kilts, A.R Cash, Hearts On Fire, and Kates Outlaw.

Young fairgoers can enjoy a packed weekend filled with fun activities! There are superhero encounters, princess stage shows, cartoon character mingles, and the Hoop & Hat Acrobatic Circus at the Kids Stage. They can also experience GellyBall games, Clydesdale wagon rides, and wood carving demos throughout the day. Don’t miss Dave’s DJ Dance Party, happening multiple times

Seeking more exhilaration? Experience thrilling harness racing, open-air excitement, live commentary by Frank Stecky, and the rush of victory on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Loop during Manitoba Harness Racing.

On Saturday, August 31st at 10 pm, prepare to be dazzled as the night sky illuminates with a spectacular fireworks show.

The pulse of The Fall Fair is fueled by lively music, and the Loop and Kids Stages are the epicenters of infectious beats and melodies. Swing to the rhythm with a selection of musical performers and children’s entertainers including Dave’s Magic Show, Princess Story Time Stage Show, Hoop & Hat Acrobatic Circus Duo, and many more, ensuring the atmosphere is brimming with energy.

Indulge in a shopping spree at the Shoppers’ Market, where local vendors offer gifts and crafts. For sustenance, relish a delectable array of snacks from diverse food vendors, and quench your thirst at the licensed bar at the Loop Stage.

Tickets can be purchased online. An advance pay-one-price ride pass costs only $40. Walk-up tickets cost $15 for a gate pass and $35 for All-You-Can-Ride Wristband. Kids aged 6 and under enjoy free gate admission daily, while seniors pay only $5. On Kids’ Day, from 12 pm to 1 pm, relish free gate admission (at West Entrance Gate). For the younger ones, the Youth All-You-Can-Ride Wristbands for ages 10 & under, priced at $25 (available only on Kids day for walk-up), offer a magical experience.

Parking:

For convenient access to the main entrance, make use of the West Parking lot situated on the park’s West Side, reached via Portage Avenue. Enter at Festival Drive. Parking at the West Lot is free. A free parking lot shuttle will get you to the gate.
