The Nutrien Fireworks Festival is this weekend!
The annual Labour Day weekend festival is back with family fun and grub! Spend the day enjoying live entertainment, cultural performances, family-friendly activities, interactive experiences, and a variety of local food vendors before settling in for the spectacular fireworks finale over the river.
On Friday, September 4th, the festivities kick off at 5:00 pm with an extraordinary fireworks display at 9:30 pm, painting the night sky with brilliant colors and patterns. And that’s just the beginning! The festivities on Saturday, September 5th, start at 12:00 pm with the evening fireworks show at 9:30 pm.
Along with these incredible fireworks, you’ll also find vendors selling a range of locally-made goods. There will also be activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Many activities are happening in River Landing, the Traffic Bridge, and Market Square, so be sure to check everything out!
Families will find plenty to keep the kids entertained at the Nutrien Fireworks Festival. The Family Fun Zones in Friendship Park and Nasser Plaza feature bouncy castles, face painting, games, Beeper the Clown, and other kid-friendly activities. Young festival-goers can also meet special characters, including Spider-Man, Ariel, and Cinderella, making the festival a fun-filled experience for the whole family.
