The battle of the food trucks is back!
Dedicated to First Responders and Frontline Workers, the 2022 edition of the festival will see 25+ food trucks from Manitoba and across Saskatchewan battle it out to be crowned the 2022 Foodtruck Wars Flavour Challenge winner.
Festival goers can look forward to great food, family fun, entertainment, and fun food-related competitions.
Visit on August 5th at 6 pm to see who will be the 2022 Pie Me! Pie Eating Champion. Watch reigning Hotdog Havoc! Champion Dan Broberg and Vancouver Champion Step Daddy J face off on August 6th at the Hotdog Havoc! contest.

Also, new this year is the Pet Walk taking place on August 6th when pet owners and their pets will be introduced to festival attendees on the main stage. There will also be a Pet Water Booth in the vicinity of the 4th Avenue & 23rd Street intersections.
Things to Do This August in Saskatchewan
The 2022 festival will close out with a Celebrity Karaoke hosted by radio deejay Gregger. This fundraising event will see local celebrities will showcase their vocal talents. All proceeds of the event will go to STARS Air Ambulance.
Being a zero waste initiative, all food serving wares will be either compostable or recyclable. Attendees can also donate paper, cloth & plastic bags for re-usage at the festival’s information booth as well as donated used eyeglasses in support of the Saskatoon & District Lions Clubs – Recycle For Sight Program.
The festival site spans 2 blocks with the festival food vendors stationed on 4th Avenue and the information booth, main stage, and table seating on 23rd Street. A limited amount of free tickets to PlayNow Beer Wars taking place on August 26 & 27 will be available at the information booths this weekend.

The festival will be live daily from 12 pm to 8 pm, Thursday to Saturday, August 4 to 6th. Drop by for good eats and fun.
