At the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology, visitors can participate in a guided tour of the preserved 1859 Hamilton Waterworks complex. This National Historic Site features steam-powered beam engines that supplied the city’s water from 1859 to 1910 and highlights Hamilton’s industrial history.

Battlefield House Museum & Park National Historic Site invites visitors to explore local history. Home to the Gage family from 1796, the site served as a gathering place for farmers, preachers, and Indigenous traders. Central to the 1813 Battle of Stoney Creek, it features the 100-foot Battlefield Monument and the Eagles Among Us sculpture, symbols of remembrance, peace, and reconciliation.
Whitehern Historic House & Garden National Historic Site offers guided tours exploring the lives of the McQuesten family across three generations, from 1852 to 1968. Restored to its 1939 appearance during Thomas B.
