Regina is set to transform into a winter wonderland as Frost 2026 returns from February 6 to 22.

FROST Regina
FROST Regina will take place over three weekends in February 2026, running from February 6–8, 13–16, and 20–22. The festival spans multiple locations across the city, offering free and ticketed events. Activities will take place in Downtown Regina, Wascana Centre, the Warehouse District, and REAL (Regina Exhibition Association Limited), providing a mix of outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, and live entertainment.
The 2026 edition also aligns with milestone anniversaries, including the 50th year of the Wascana Winter Festival and the 30th anniversary of Casino Regina.
Several new ticketed experiences are part of the schedule, including chef-led winter brunches at Conexus Arts Centre and large-scale winter activities inside Mosaic Stadium.
Wascana Centre
Wascana Centre will offer free winter programming from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on designated festival days. Activities include skating on Wascana Lake, with child-size skate rentals and skating aids available while supplies last. Horse-and-wagon rides will operate in front of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, with visitors advised to expect outdoor wait times during peak hours. The Wascana Winter Festival will take place from February 12 to 16, marking its 50th anniversary. Downtown Regina
Downtown Regina will host a variety of outdoor and indoor winter activities centered around Victoria Park and City Square.

Crokicurl will operate as a casual, family-oriented activity, with instructional sessions and a bonspiel offering prizes during the opening weekend. Complimentary hot chocolate will warm you up on chilly days.
Interactive installations are a central feature downtown. The Poetry Hut uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized haikus and visuals based on three-word submissions responding to the question “What is home to me?”. Augmented reality installations, developed in collaboration with the University of Regina, place digital artworks within public spaces. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served during scheduled hours.
JoyLab, a creative collaboration between the Saskatchewan Science Centre and Cornwall Centre, will run at The Studio in Cornwall Centre as part of FROST @ Downtown. The exhibition presents curated sensory environments that explore the use of light, colour, and space.
