Celebrate winter at Frost, fish for free on Family Day weekend, and more this February in Regina.

Government House Regina

  1. Start the month with Quartet for the End of Time (Quatuor pour la fin du temps), a quartet in eight movements for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano by the French composer Olivier Messiaen. The piece premiered on 15 January 1941, at the Stalag VIIIA prisoner-of-war camp, in Görlitz, Germany, where the composer had been confined since his capture in May 1940.   2. Join Tamar Ilana & Ventanas all the way from Toronto for an incredible performance on February 2nd, 2026, at The Artesian.
  3. Mid-Winter Celtic Festival is back this year with lots of activities. The feature event, Mid-Winter Ceilidh, takes place on February 14th at the Exchange. Sign up for the workshops or take in the free afternoon performances at the festival.
  4. Celebrate Canadian choral music in this vibrant fundraiser featuring the Regina Philharmonic Chorus joined by the Dr. Martin Leboldus High School Choir and a new premiere by Saskatchewan composer Stewart Wilkinson. Enjoy great music, refreshments, and a silent auction featuring crafts, jewelry, gift cards, and other items from many Regina businesses. With Glowing Hearts will take place on February 08, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Darke Hall.
  5. A kaleidoscopic reimagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, this musical bursts with flower-power energy, free-spirited romance, and electric folk-rock vibes. With infectious songs, bold visuals, and timeless humor, it’s a celebration of love, rebellion, and the beautiful chaos of following your heart. Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 7:00 PM at The Artesian.
  6. Disney’s Frozen – The Broadway Musical brings Elsa and Anna’s beloved story to the stage with spectacular visuals and iconic music. This magical production runs from January 28 to March 8, 2026.

  9. Regina, the queen of the cities in Saskatchewan and home to the provincial legislature offers up some beautiful and unique places to spend some time outside. Strap on a pair of running shoes or good winter boots and head out to walk through some of the city parks, trails, and streets as you explore the varied outdoor aspects of the city.
  10. Award-winning country-rock trio The Road Hammers and JUNO and multi-CCMA Award-winning group Doc Walker will perform at the Club Regent Event Centre on February 13th.
  11. Families are invited to a free, come-and-go Family Day celebration at Government House on February 16th, featuring games, play spaces, workshops, and activities throughout the day.   12. Enjoy a scenic skate through Aspen Campground’s winding trail and cozy up by the fire for warmth. Echo Valley Skate The Park is open Wednesday through Sunday all winter long.
  13. Choir! Choir! Choir! presents We Will CHOIR! You!: An EPIC QUEEN Sing-Along, an interactive, high-energy night on Thursday, February 12th at Conexus Arts Centre. Celebrate the legendary music of Queen by singing their biggest anthems together—no experience required, just bring your voice and enthusiasm.
  14. Wascana Winter Festival offers family fun with concerts, skating, activities, demos, and an art gallery night. The festival celebrates cultural heritage and Black History Month, honoring Treaty Rights. Regina’s oldest winter festival usually takes place during Family Day Weekend.

  15. Delight in a sumptuous 3-course High Tea experience at Café Français. The menu boasts a variety of delectable offerings, from the savory tri-color peppers Quiche to the sweet Raspberry Sorbet. The High Tea Tier presents a delightful assortment, perfect for tea enthusiasts.
  16. Winnipeg Comedy Fest: Crazy Stupid Love is headlined by Elvira Kurt, a trailblazing Canadian comedy icon known for her work across television, live performance, and award-winning writing and production. Veteran emcee Bryan Hatt hosts the show and features Mike Green, delivering a polished night of high-energy, nationally recognized stand-up comedy. February 14, 2026, at 8 pm at Club Regent Event Centre.
  17. For one-night-only, join JUNO and Gemini Award-winning guitarist Jack Semple for an epic collaboration with Regina Jazz Orchestra. From Gordon Lightfoot and The Lincolns to Jack’s BB King tribute and his own originals, there’s something for everyone from one of Canada’s top guitarists. February 13, 2026, at 7:30 pm at Darke Hall.
  18. Saskatchewan Family Fishing Weekend happens from February 14 to 16, 2026. Take advantage of these days to fish in Saskatchewan waters for free.
  19. The WINTER Dance Series returns to The Artesian from February 11 to 13, uniting contemporary dance, live music, and film over three evenings. The program features performances by leading local and guest artists, including Margie Gillis, with Thursday’s show co-produced with the Regina Musical Club and the Regina Horn Quartet.
  20. Singer, songwriter Belle Plaine and her partner country singer Blake Berglund, join us at Darke Hall for a special Valentine’s Day concert. Blake Berglund is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter. Belle Plaine weaves her own brand of roots music that combines vintage blues and swing with classic country. Together, they create an unforgettable evening of music. February 14, 2026, at 7:30 pm at Darke Hall.
  21. Embark on a journey of global wine sampling in a sophisticated setting. Enjoy wines from around the world paired with light appetizers to cleanse your palate. Wine in Wascana takes place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
  22. Josh Ross brings his Later Tonight Tour to Conexus Arts Centre in Regina on February 26, 2026, delivering high-energy country hits and fan favourites. This must-see evening for country music fans will have an opening act by Chandler Walters.
  23. The Trews bring their high-energy, arena-ready rock sound to the Club Regent Event Centre on February 19, 2026. Renowned for thousands of live shows worldwide and tours with legendary acts, the band delivers the powerhouse hits that have defined Canadian rock for over two decades.
  24. Enjoy an enchanting winter celebration in the heart of Regina! Spanning ten days, our city transforms into a winter wonderland, filled with dazzling lights and exciting outdoor and indoor activities with free and ticketed events throughout the festival. Frost Regina happens from February 6 to 22, 2026.

  25. Experience a vibrant winter parade celebration on February 16th as part of FROST @ Downtown. This parade is presented by New Dance Horizons in partnership with the Regina Downtown Business Improvement District.
  26. Watch family movies on screen at Cineplex theatres.
     
  27. The Snowed In Comedy Tour stops at Regina on February 20, bringing Canada’s biggest and longest-running comedy tour to the stage with a high-energy night of stand-up. Featuring powerhouse comics Dan Quinn, Paul Myrehaug, Pete Zedlacher, and Erica Sigurdson, the show delivers a fast-paced, laugh-heavy lineup critics call a must-see winter tradition.
  28. The Coldest Night of the Year, a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities, is set for February 28, 2026.
  29. Strait From Me to You on February 28 features Canadian country star Gil Grand performing a heartfelt tribute to the timeless hits of George Strait.
