Get ready for a variety of fun and exciting events for this year’s upcoming Winterfest starting on February 2nd to the 4th in Couthouse Square!
If the weather permits, on February 3rd, from 10 am – 4pm, the Goderich BIA will be hosting the first ever Vendor Winterfest Market! Unique items and food from the local community will be available to purchase, so come on by and see for yourself.
Also starting at 10 a.m. there will lots be outdoor activities for the kids! Goderich Tourism is bringing a variety of different games and lots of fun is to be had including snowmen ring toss, racing an inflatable horse derby, competing with your buddies in a game of mini sticks and so much more!
In addition, from 11 am to 2 pm there will be a petting zoo provided by Little Hobby Hill Farm. The animals expected to be there include alpacas, chickens, bunnies, and goats – animals that like the Winterfest weather! Prepare to have your heart melted by these adorable guys! This event is made possible by the good folks at Royal Le Page Heartland Realty.
And while the kiddos play, the adult kids can enjoy a beverage at the Winterfest Square Brew bar between 11 am and 4 pm.
So, get bundled up for the winter weather and come to Downtown Goderich to have some fun! If you can’t make it out on the 3rd, not to worry, the outdoor activities and the petting zoo, will be there again on the 4th. Now, if we get one of those notorious winter storms, or extreme windchill, we will be moving the outdoor activities to Memorial Arena (180 MacDonald Street).
