The “Cheetos Top Cheetle” statue has returned to Alberta with a new look and feel, this time supporting the Edmonton Oilers during game 4 of the NHL playoffs.

image

The original statue, standing nearly 17 feet tall, featured a hand holding a Cheetos Puffs snack, with fingers coated in the distinctive orange Cheetle. This pop-up sculpture was first introduced in Alberta two years ago by PepsiCo Foods Canada, capturing widespread attention for its playful representation of the Cheetos dust known as Cheetle.

The redesigned statue features a Cheetos Puffs snack, held by a hand-wearing hockey glove coated in the orange dust. The statue will be in the Rogers Place ICE district, and the Cheetle Hand Statue is part of a series of fan activities.

Oilers supporters can engage with the installation by taking photos of the statue and sharing them on social media alongside the mascot Chester Cheetah. Fans also have the opportunity to receive limited edition hockey-themed merchandise, including Cheetos-branded gloves, hockey tape, and laces, plus snacks for the game.

Additionally, the venue will feature a unique Cheetle scoreboard, which uses orange Cheetle fingertips as a fun, thematic element counting down to the game.

The Dallas Stars currently lead the best-of-seven series 2-1 in the Western Conference final.
