Intricate Hand Carved Lighted Pumpkin Wonderland Coming to Kingston’s Fort Henry

Get ready for mind-blowing hand-carved lighted pumpkin installations at Fort Henry this Fall.

Parks of St. Lawrence announced yesterday Pumpinferno festival that takes place at Upper Canada Village will be extended to Fort Henry this year so that visitors can enjoy a spectacular outdoor experience of glowing pumpkins inside the walls of the historic site.

 

Visitors can see lighted hand-carved pumpkins in various shapes and installations augmenting the architecture of the site. Previous installations at Upper Canada Village included Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine, fairies, dinosaurs, fairy tale characters, art scenes and more.

Parks of St. Lawrence says Fort Fright at the historic site will not be held in this Halloween season.

Pumpkinferno or lighted pumpkin festivals also take place at Sudbury, Penetanguishene, and Milton.

2021 festival dates for Sudbury, and Penetanguishene are yet to be announced.

Pumpkins After Dark in Milton will begin on September 17th.
