Set outdoors, Halloween at Dynamic Earth features an insanely huge collection of hand-carved glowing pumpkins (PumpkinInferno) that will blow your mind. You’ll be amazed at the range of incredibly cute and scary faces carved into the pumpkins.
This year’s standout addition is the debut of 40 brand-new Pumpkinferno sets. Organizers say the fresh displays add a new layer of creativity and spectacle, giving visitors plenty of reasons to return even if they’ve attended before.
Alongside the glowing pumpkins, families can gather for Local Legend Storytime, where tales inspired by Northern Ontario’s folklore are told. From strange creatures to ghostly encounters, the storytelling blends regional history with a dose of Halloween chills — designed to intrigue audiences of all ages.
Also new is the Pumpkin Passport, an interactive scavenger hunt spread across the Pumpkinferno trail and Dynamic Earth itself. Visitors collect stamps as they complete activities, with the passport valid over multiple visits.

Between the 7,000 pumpkins, 40 new themed displays, live storytelling, and games, Dynamic Earth promises a mix of spectacle and family fun. Organizers describe Pumpkinferno as a chance to enjoy the season outdoors with a balance of light scares, creativity, and community spirit.
For families looking to celebrate Halloween in Northern Ontario, Pumpkinferno at Dynamic Earth offers both tradition and something new to discover each visit.
